Start journey from Dhaka International Airport & Connecting flight from Kolkata to Bagdogra Airport. Then transfer to Darjeeling which is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. After arriving in Darjeeling, check-in at hotel. Evening is free for guest to explore this hill queen.
After Breakfast at the hotel, proceed for Mixed Points sightseeing & famous places in Darjeeling which includes- Japanese Peace pagoda which was built as a symbol of peace in Japanese cities including Hiroshima & Nagasaki where atomic bombs took the lives of over 150,000 people, almost all of whom were civilian, at the end of the World War II. By 2000, eighty Peace Pagodas had been built around the world in Europe, Asia & the United States of America. The rock garden which is being recently added tourist attractions on the hilly town of Darjeeling. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. It is the premier mountaineering institute of South-east Asia. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. This park is internationally recognized for its breeding & conversation program of endangered animal species of the eastern Himalayas, including Snow Leopard & red Panda. Tenzing rock. This huge rock named after Tenzing Norgay, who was famous for climbing the Mount Everest accompanied by Edmund Hillary in the year 1953. Batasia Loop- War memorial. The Batasia Loop is a spiral railway created to lower the gradient of ascent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. At this point, the track spirals around over itself through a tunnel & over a hilltop. At the center of the Batasia Loop a War memorial was constructed by the District Sainik Board, Darjeeling in commemoration of the brave Gorkha Soldiers, who sacrificed their life to protect the sovereignty of the nation since independence. Ghoom Monastery. The 4.57 meters statue of the Maithreya Buddha, painted in gold & encrusted with precious stone in the major attraction of this Monastery. Largest amongst the three monasteries in Ghoom, this is a revered place for Buddhist community & is the stone house of some rare Buddhist manuscript. Tea garden etc. After the tour, return back to the hotel. Evening is free for guest to visit the Mall & market for shopping.
